After a quick breakfast, dog walk and school run, I make my way to the clinic for a busy Monday.
The first client is due at 9.30am for a Skin Brightening Facial with Barbara Johnson our Skin Therapist. I prepare all the consent forms and information sheets needed for the days clients. A delivery of over 50 Z-Bras arrives from our stockist, which I check before greeting our first lady. I take photographs of our client with a specialised camera that carries out a skin analysis; this creates an individual report, which Barbara will use in her consultation.
Cathy Brown our Medical Tattooist arrives in preparation for her first client who today is having semi-permanent make-up to her eyebrows.
In between clients, I have time to check our online shop for any orders, theres several for AVST Body Oil, this is proving to be our bestseller! I package and post out to our customers. The next two clients arrive at the same time, an ideal opportunity to put the kettle on!
I take payment from our first client who has also purchased the Environ C-Boost product recommended by Barbara.
A passer-by calls in to obtain some information on dermal fillers, I provide them with an information pack and take her contact details - Ill email our next newsletter to her, too.
Cathys client emerges with fabulous new eyebrows, Iensure she has the post treatment instructions and book her an appointment for a follow up in two weeks.
By 3pm all our clients and clinicians have left, and after a bite to eat I proceed in making follow up calls to Fridays clients, ensuring they are ok after their recent treatments.
An email address arrives from Mrs Kat with ideas for next months newsletter and an update for the website: this prompts me to put together an article for our new Soprano Hair Removal Laser and edit our latest blog for the news item.
Mrs Kat has a very busy clinic tomorrow; I check the list to make sure the treatment rooms are well stocked with the required instruments and drugs. I make a note to place another order with my suppliers at the end of the week.
Its 5.30pm and the shutters of the clinic are pulled down - heres hoping my husband has cooked dinner!
