2019 was a whirlwind of activity for Kat & Co Aesthetics and we��re grateful to each and every one of you that supported us over the past 12 months to make it our most successful year to date!
January saw us move into our gorgeous new four-storey clinic in Calthorpe Road and allow patients to enjoy their procedures and treatments in beautifully serene surroundings that match our level of care. We couldn��t be happier with the wonderful feedback we��ve received about our clinic and look forward to welcoming you all through our doors in 2020.
We��ve also introduced new team members andtreatments in 2019, allowing us to offer a comprehensive list of treatmentsthat look after our patients inside and out. We��ve seen a surge in appointmentsover the past 12 months with innovative treatments like the BTL Emsella helpingwomen across the Midlands to take control of their incontinence and in turnhelp to change their lives for the better whilst our HydraFacials have becomeso popular we��ve invested in multiple machines to keep up with demand!
Our aim for 2019 was to provide the very bestin surgical and non-surgical care, offering a full range of procedures andtreatments to meet the high expectations of our patients. And whilst oursurgical side is continually busy under the watchful eye of our renownedConsultant Plastic Surgeon CC Kat, we have also exceeded plans to grow ournon-surgical treatments helping us to meet the needs of patients looking forexcellent results without surgery.
With non-surgical treatments increasing we��vealso seen a rise in the demand for surgery with Kat & Co and we��ve got bigplans for 2020 to meet the needs of our patients with the introduction of afantastic team of new Consultant Plastic,Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons.
We are thrilled to announce that internationally renowned Plastic Surgeon Alberto Di Giuseppe is joining the Kat & Co team to head up our VASER liposuction surgery service. A leader in the field of VASER Liposuction, Alberto trains doctors from all over the world in advanced techniques and we are excited that his expertise will allow us to offer complex procedures such as High Definition Vaser Liposuction. In addition, Alberto is highly skilled in breast augmentation and will offer a full range of breast surgery to Kat & Co patients.
We are also delighted to welcome Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon Mr Kenneth Kok who will be bringing his extensive experience in rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation and laser surgery to Kat & Co. �With a specialist interest in Facial Aesthetics, Skin and Hair he completed additional�Fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery, Laser Surgery, Hair Transplantation and Skin Cancer Surgery. During that time, he travelled extensively and worked alongside renowned experts in their respective fields to gain valuable experience in treating complex rhinoplasties.
The third addition to the team is Miss Kerstin Oestreich who has extensive experience in cosmetic gynaecology such as labial surgery and will be heading up the Kat & Co Cosmetic Gynaecology/Well Woman Clinic in 2020.
Miss Oestreich has trained all over the world,qualifiying as a specialist General Surgeon in 2000 and as a Plastic Surgeon in2006. She worked as a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon in one of the largestPlastic Surgery Departments in the UK between 2007-2014 before going on to treatchildren with plastic surgery conditions as a Consultant at the prestigiousBirmingham Children��s Hospital.
Kerstin will be using her gynaecology expertise to work alongside CC Kat and our resident gynaecologist Poonam Pradhan to help provide a comprehensive menu of both surgical & non-surgical procedures to our female patients.
The final addition to our surgical team is Mr Chris MacDonald who joins us as Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon. Mr Macdonald is a highly experienced Plastic Surgeon who prides himself on his clear and honest approach and his ability to deliver outstanding, natural results for all his patients.
Afterqualifying from University College London (UCL) Medical School in 2006, Chriscompleted his early surgical training in London, Hertfordshire and Essex. Heundertook his plastic and reconstructive surgery training at a number ofinternationally renowned hospitals including the St Andrews Centre for PlasticSurgery and Burns (Broomfield) and Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead).
Aftercompleting the FRCS(Plast) exam he was awarded a Fellowship of the RoyalCollege of Surgeons and has been invited to present his work and research at anumber of international plastic surgery meetings. He is also is widelypublished in the medical literary world.
Hissurgical expertise includes facial rejuvenation, breast and body contouring andthe advanced non-surgical techniques & treatments that Chris offers aredesigned to deliver outstanding, natural results.
And, as if that��s not enough, 2020 will also see the launch of our new Cosmetic Dentistry clinic Edgbaston Smile which will be offering a host of treatments including veneers, teeth whitening and dental implants. Overseen by an excellent team of experienced cosmetic dentists and medical professionals the addition of Edgbaston Smile to Kat & Co Aesthetics reinforces our aim to offer our patients a truly comprehensive service under one roof.
