At forty years old, mother, house keeper, decorator and gardener among my essential list of duties, my hands had definitely bore the brunt ofthe harsh conditions. Their appearance were dry and wrinkly with lack of volume which made my veins prominent. They looked years older than my age. I was embarrased by them and would never wear nail polish or show them off. No creams or lotions made any difference.
After learning more about the dermal filler Radiesse and how effective it was for hands I decided to go for it. Radiesse restores the volume to the back of the hands , making veins and tendons less visable. It also plumps up the skin, smoothing out wrinkles and lines.
I had every faith in Natasha and Dr H Kat who carried out the treatment. Radiesse was injected into several areas in the back of my hands and massaged in. It took around 15 minutes per hand and was painless, feeling like a spa treatment.
There was no discomfort afterwards. The following day a small 'pea-size' area of brusing was apparent on my left hand but quickly settled. Best of all, there was no downtime and results should last between 18 months to 2 years!
I love the appearance of my new hands. They now look like they belong to me!
