Karen graduated in 1987 from Birmingham University. She has gained vast experience in orthopaedic and Sports medicine working in teaching Hospitals in Wales and the Midlands.
She became a clinical specialist in Knee Pain working at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital before moving in to private practice at Spire Parkway Hospital and Solihull Chiropractic Clinic.
�Her main interest lies in the rehabilitation of spinal, knee and shoulder conditions and the treatment of postural syndrome.
�She has particular interest in the use of Pilate��s base exercise in rehabilitation but is also skilled in manual techniques and Acupuncture.� Karen is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
In the last three years Karen has been working closely with Mrs Kat in the development of treatment regimes for the rehabilitation of patients following reconstructive Breast surgery. Karen is now using a combination of exercise and soft tissue massage to aid those patients following cosmetic surgery, and in particular abdominoplasty. The aim is to restore posture and muscle tone to compliment the benefits achieved by surgery.
