We're as excited as anyone for the Commonwealth Games to come to Birmingham, but we're also aware that this might cause traffic and transport delays around the clinic.
The Commonwealth Games run between 28th July and 8th August with locations across Birmingham. We recommend anyone travelling to the clinic to factor in some extra time for delays. Taking the train to Five Ways station (a five minute walk from the clinic) could be a good way to avoid traffic, although be aware that delays and disruption may occur.
We would especially advise patients driving to the clinic from outside of Birmingham or past any of the Commonwealth Games' locations (Central Birmingham, Edgbaston Cricket Ground, University of Birmingham) to take extra care and plan your journey ahead of time.
