There are numerous reasons why someone might be considering breast enlargement surgery for a larger cup size, including:
Every patient's breast implant journey will be unique. Our specialist breast enlargement surgeons will help you to choose the best implant size, shape and placement based on your individual build, requirements and personal desires. Important considerations include:
Your doctor will look at how much volume you have to begin with and how much soft tissue coverage you will have with a breast implant.
Skin laxity, or the looseness and stretchiness of your skin, determines whether or not you also need a breast lift. Laxity means there is some sagginess to consider.
Nipple placement may vary between your two breasts. Breast augmentation can draw attention to the differences in size, placement and direction. Aesthetic preferences vary by patient.
Each of your breasts is a different size. Depending on how different they are, you may need to select differently sized breast implants to improve their symmetry.
Kat and Co uses Breast Implants from Motiva, Polytech and Mentor, allowing us to provide a wide range of choices for shape, size and feel.
Replicating the Natural Feel: Motiva breast implants are meticulously crafted from medical-grade silicone, ensuring not only a visual resemblance to natural breasts but also a tactile similarity. Their advanced material design allows them to move in harmony with your body, delivering a seamless and natural appearance.
Dual-Layered Protective Shell: Distinguishing itself from typical implants with a single outer shell, Motiva implants feature a dual-layered design. The innermost layer, known as the "Barrier layer," possesses a unique chemical composition, serving as a protective barrier to prevent any leakage from the implant's internal filling.
Q Inside® Safety Technology: A standout feature offered by Motiva is the Q Inside® Safety Technology (Qid®). Implants equipped with this technology incorporate a micro-transponder, essentially a miniature electronic chip. This chip stores essential data about the implant, including its size, type, model, and distinctive serial number. In the event of complications, this information becomes invaluable for plastic surgeons.
Reduced Risk of Complications: Motiva implants stand out for their notable advantage in minimizing the risk of capsular contracture, a condition that can distort breast shape and may require additional surgery for correction.
These 3 breast implant companies offer a lifetime warranty against implant rupture and 10 years against implant capsular contracrgery which meets the terms and conditions. Find out more about the included Mentor Protection Plan here. Kat and Co offers unlimited follow-up appointments post breast enlargement surgery.
Breast enhancement is one of the most commonly performed plastic surgeries in the world, with a high patient satisfaction rate. However as with all surgeries, you should always discuss the potential risks with your plastic surgeon.
There are some basic considerations that determine whether you may be ready for a Breast Enlargement / Breast Augmentation:
Depending on the specifics of your procedure, surgery can typically last between 45 minutes and 2 hours.
Our Anaesthetists are leaders in the field of Twilight Anaesthesia (Conscious Sedation). This is our anaesthesia of choice over General Anaesthesia although it is available as an alternative if necessary. The advantages of Twilight Anaesthesia are :

Breast Augmentation is a day surgery procedure under Twilight Anaesthesia. You are typically at the clinic for about 4 to 5 hours.
Recovery time is much shorter with Twilight Anaesthesia. You are advised to rest for at least 24 hours after surgery. You can drive and return to work typically after 1 week if your work is not too physical. You can return to lower body exercise after 3 weeks and upper body exercise after 6 weeks. But the recovery process can vary from patient to patient.
Any form of implant failure or a clinical condition (such as capsular contracture) could potentially create the need for implant replacement. You should be mindful of the consensus that Breast Implants have a limited lifetime, although you could keep your implant for 10-20 years without the need to replace them (provided you follow aftercare instructions).
Breast Enlargement Starts From £4,520

Complications are uncommon but can include asymmetry, implant dislocation, increased scarring, incorrect implant position, sensory disturbances, palpable implant edges, infection, and capsular contracture. You should always discuss the possible risks and outcomes with your surgeon prior to breast surgery.
The formation of a capsule of connective-tissue around an implant is a normal reaction to a foreign body. The undesired tightening of this capsule (capsular contracture or capsular fibrosis) can result in changes to the shape as well as to the position of the implant. A capsular contracture may never occur at all, or it may occur after weeks, months or years.
Kat and Co is proud to offer an unrivalled aftercare package in partnership with the Implant Companies Warranty and Commitment Plus Patient Revision Surgery Insurance (endorsed by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons). It covers the treatment of any complications and revisions that may arise in the first 6 months following surgery (Terms and Conditions apply). We do not have a limit on the number of follow up appointment after your surgery. This can be virtual or face to face.
